The Ice Hockey Association of Thailand proudly congratulates the Thailand Women’s National Ice Hockey Team for their outstanding achievement in securing the silver medal at the IIHF Women’s World Championship Division III, Group A, organized under the supervision of the International Ice Hockey Federation in Zagreb, Republic of Croatia.
Throughout the tournament, the Thai women’s team demonstrated remarkable determination, discipline, and fighting spirit. Their performance has brought pride to the Thai people and clearly reflects the continued development of women’s ice hockey in Thailand on the international stage.
However, due to the current unrest in the Middle East affecting international flight routes, the team and staff have been unable to return to Thailand as originally scheduled. All members of the delegation remain safe and are closely coordinating travel arrangements.
On this occasion, the Association would like to express its sincere appreciation to Dr. Stjepan Ćurić, Honorary Consul, who personally attended the competition venue to congratulate and support the team, as well as to provide close assistance. His presence reflects the strong friendship between Thailand and Croatia.
This support and care mean a great deal to the Thai delegation and serve as important encouragement for the team to continue moving forward with confidence.
The Ice Hockey Association of Thailand extends its gratitude to all partners and supporters, and will continue to closely monitor the situation to ensure the team’s safe return to Thailand.
